“Behind The Words I Feel”
The art of writing serves as a profound form of artistic expression in the Arab world. Arabic script embodies the essence of knowledge, emotion, and connection — merging the spiritual with the artistic. Influenced by the fluid elegance of Arabic calligraphy, where language meets abstraction, this work explores the depth of expression through carefully composed phrases.
In this collection, the flowing lines of Arabic cursive are intentionally linked to the rhythm of breath, symbolizing a deep, intuitive understanding of each phrase. Each piece is structured into three distinct portions: the top invites reading, the center encourages reflection, and the bottom evokes feeling. As the colors, text, and density intensify with each line, the experience shifts from reading to contemplation.
Beginning with a single sentence repeated in a rhythmic progression, the work evolves into a mantra. By the end, it is no longer about reading — it becomes about feeling the meaning on a visceral level.
